Grixti Mobili saw its foundations built back in 1974 by the current owners’ parents. In 1994, brothers Aldo and Sandro decided to take over the business and bought it over from their parents. Six years later, in 2000, the youngest brother, Owen, joined the company. Having the three brothers working side by side, the company grew substantially employing a team of 20 full-time workers.
From an early age, the three brothers had an insatiable passion for woodwork and it was their playing field. Growing up and always grooming this skill, all three of them are capable of completing the whole woodwork process from start to finish.
With more than 80 years of combined experience between the three brothers they are all well knowledgeable in the furniture sector both locally and abroad.
Since the brothers took over, investment has also been a key element for growth within the company covering all business aspects. In 2007 Grixti Mobili continued expanding the business and through major investment inaugurated a new factory in Marsa. The company also invested in new technological, state-of-the-art computerised machinery including specialised software in order to keep abreast with industry developments both in design and manufacturing.
The company has also realised that investment was also required in its sales division and in 2013, Grixti Mobili upgraded their showroom in Qormi which now showcases a variety of products and samples together with a warehouse used to store the imported wood.
